L’università di danza e teatro di Santa Barbara, California, è una scuola americana di altissimo livello che propone ai suoi allievi un percorso completo, che si conclude con una tournee mondiale.

La compagnia sarà ospite allo Spazio Alfieri con uno spettacolo composto da sei pezzi di repertorio ideati da coreografi internazionali.

UCSB DANCE COMPANY 2012-2013 is a 13 member student dance company under the direction of Delila Moseley. Now in its 23rd year, the company offers graduating senior dance majors the opportunity to perform and travel as a pre-professional dance company. The company performs at the University, locally in Santa Barbara, on tour throughout California, in New York City and internationally to Mexico, China, and Italy. The UCSB Dance Company presents lecture-demonstrations in elementary school, high schools, and community colleges as well as repertory concerts in theatrical venues. Each year the company features works by guest choreographers, from reconstructions of classic works of modern dance, to cutting edge contemporary choreographers.
